Celebrating the beauty and uniqueness of Carbon County, Wyoming.
Once again the Carbon County Visitors Council is giving you the chance to shine by submitting your best photo taken in Carbon County into our bi-annual photo contest for the chance to win up to $150 in cash! We have awarded cash prizes to over 40 talented winners over the years and you could be our next winner.
We want you to get involved by sumbitting your favorite photo online. Photos are judged by the Carbon County Visitors Council Board of Directors. Judges only view the photos and do not know photographer names until a winner is choosen. Anyone can win!
We invite locals and area visitors alike to enter. Both amateur and professional photographers are welcome to participate. Your photographic subjects can be scenic, people enjoying recreational activities, wildlife, landmarks and more. Just remember that if your photo contains a recognizable person you must also include a model release so we know your subject is ok with being included in your photo. You can download a model relase form here. We use submitted photos to help promote travel and tourism in Carbon County.
The winner will receive a $150 cash prize. 2nd place will receive $50 and $25 to Honorable Mention. Winners will also have their photo featured on the Carbon County Visitors Council web site and select photos may appear in ads and marketing materials to help promote the county!
